Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about the design details that shape shared city spaces, especially ideas that help readers notice something familiar in a new way.
What to propose
Pitch a focused article about a street feature, shared place, route cue, public object or design choice. Strong proposals have a clear question, explain why a general reader would care, and identify the specific point the article will help readers understand.
What makes a good pitch
Keep the proposal concise and original. Tell us the central idea, the likely shape of the piece and what material or examples would support it. We value careful framing, plain language and attention to trade-offs; avoid unsupported claims, promotional copy and ideas that require readers to rely on local rules or professional advice.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include your proposed title, a short summary and any relevant writing samples or links you are able to share. A proposal is not a promise of publication.
