Urban News Perspective

Editorial policy

Urban News Perspective aims to make urban civic design understandable without overstating what a single example can show. We distinguish description from interpretation and correct the record when we get something wrong.

Accuracy and context

We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and take care to distinguish established information from interpretation. When an article discusses how a feature may work, we explain the limits of that point rather than treating one design as a rule for every city or reader.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly identified as such, and a partnership does not guarantee favourable editorial coverage. We do not present a partner's claims as independent editorial findings.

Corrections

Readers can use the Contact page to flag a factual error or unclear passage. We review correction requests, update material when warranted and make the nature of a meaningful correction clear to readers.

Illustrations and images

Some illustrations may be AI-generated. We identify them where appropriate and do not present an illustrative image as documentary evidence of a real place or event.
